Camps offered by CYRC

Robot Summer Camp

The "Robot Summer Camp" aims to introduce young people to robotics by designing, building, and programming robots in a relaxed environment. Participating students will need to assemble the controllers, drivers, sensors, and structural components provided by the team to complete various design challenges.
Camp RoboSpark | 2025 AI Summer Camp

Camp RoboSpark is an in-person summer program in Vancouver designed for young innovators eager to explore the world of robotics and artificial intelligence. Our curriculum guides students through every step—from basic electronics and mechanical assembly to advanced programming and building intelligent robots.

Each day, campers participate in three distinct courses:

  • Mechanical & Electronics Lab: Hands-on assembly and engineering challenges that build a strong technical foundation.

  • AI Picture Book Creation: Integrating artificial intelligence with creativity, students design and bring home their own AI-generated picture books.

  • Robotic U Advanced Class: Advanced robotics and programming tasks, including team competitions and real engineering problem-solving.

What’s Included:

  • Complimentary Robotic U kit (valued at $300) and Arduino learning set ($100)

  • Official camp T-shirt and certificate of completion

  • Four separate camp sessions throughout the summer; flexible dates to fit your schedule

At Camp RoboSpark, we combine theory and hands-on experience to help every student grow into a confident problem-solver and creative thinker. Our program fosters curiosity, teamwork, and innovation, providing each child with an inspiring pathway to the future of AI and robotics.

We offer diverse and enriching tech camp activities, including the Robot Summer Camp, Autism Social Robot Camp, and Astronomy Summer Camp.

For those interested in a more relaxed learning environment, we also carry out a wide variety of outdoor camp activities, such as dragon boat teams and sailing competitions. Outdoor camp participants and volunteers are able to meet people of the same age, get close to nature, and cultivate a sense of camaraderie through these activities.
