2021 STEM Summer Camp (Online Only)

Students will learn robotics, engineering, math, coding, game programming and astronomy knowledge Solar System, Stars, Galaxies and large structures in the Universe in this course.

And the Camp is toward K-G7 students.

     Time period:

 


Camp A - Robotics: July 5 - July 16 ( Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 12:30pm )
Camp A - Astronomy: July 5 - July 16 ( Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 4:00pm )


Camp B - Robotics: July 19 - July 30 ( Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 12:30pm )
Camp B - Astronomy: July 19 - July 30 ( Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 4:00pm )


Camp C - Robotics: August 3 - August 14 ( First week: Tuesday to Saturday, Second week: Monday to Friday 10:00 am to 12:30pm)
Camp C - Astronomy: August 3 - August 14 ( First week: Tuesday to Saturday, Second week: Monday to Friday 1:30 pm to 4:00pm )


Camp D - Robotics: August 16 - August 27 ( Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 12:30pm )
Camp D - Astronomy: August 16 - August 27 ( Monday to Friday, 1:30 pm to 4:00pm )

 

( Course content are same each camp, and the only difference is the time for each camp. )

   12:30pm - 1:30pm (Break time)

   1:30pm - 4:00pm (Astronomy)

Day 2 topic: Basic Movements Turn Right-Turn left

Day 3 topic: Medium motor Flow model

Day 4 topic: Distance Sensor - part 1

Day 5 topic: Distance Sensor - part 2

Day 6 topic: Switch Sensor - part 1

Day 7 topic: Switch Sensor - part 2

Day 8 topic: Colour Sensor

Day 9 topic: Gyro sensor

Day 10 topic: Project - Controlling the buttons

 

 

Astronomy:

 

Day 1 topic: Introduction to Solar System

Day 2 topic: Comets, Asteroids and Dwarf Planets Stars

Day 3 topic: Sun and Stars

Day 4 topic: Constellations Star Clusters and Nebulae

Day 5 topic: Star Clusters and Nebulae

Day 6 topic: Galaxies

Day 7 topic: Astronomical Transients (Largest explosions in the Universe)

Day 8 topic: Most complicated objects (Black Holes)

Day 9 topic: Origin of Theories

Day 10 topic: Exo-Planets
