2016 WER Canada Open

WER, short for World Educational Robot contest, is a robotics event started by the Federation of World Educational Robot (FWER). WER attracts 300,000 participants aged from 9 to 18 all around the world every year. Started from 2013, the first WER contest attracted over 500 teams. Afterwards, WER held invitational tournaments in different countries and areas such as America, China, Brazil, Philippines, Dubai, Canada and so on. There are about 10,000 teams participating in our 2016 WER contest。This is the 2nd Canada Open, during which we have more teams join us this year.


2016 WER Canadian Open is hosted by Federation of World Educational Robot (FWER) and Canada Youth Robotics Club (CYRC) which is a not-for-profit organization devotes itself to promote robotics learning and opportunities for K-12 students in communities throughout Canada.
